LONG REACH EXCAVATORS The city of Denver came to Long Reach with the challenge of digging a hole in the bottom Standley Lake in order to bore a horizontal tunnel under the lake. Long Reach loaded its big Halla (with reach of 65 feet) onto a platform and floated it on the lake. At that point it was able to scoop out a hole on the bottom of the lake.
